Acoustic Engineering

All of our highly educated employees are formally educated engineers at either the Masters or Doctorate level. We maintain strong ties to the acoustic research community. One of our employees has a professorship within construction acoustics at the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, while another works part-time as a researcher within acoustics/hearing at the National Institute of Health. We are actively involved in establishing both national and international standards. Nearly half of our employees have more than 15 years experience as consulting engineers within acoustics, sound, and noise pollution.
Sound insulation and room acoustics
We have significant experience analyzing sound conditions in homes, schools, offices, and major cultural buildings. The company has been responsible for acoustic consulting in a significant number of radio and TV-related projects. In addition, we are the acoustic advisors for the new National Opera House in Norway (Bjørvika), the Oslo Concert Hall, as well as the new concert hall in Kristiansand. We maintain close connectivity to business trends and the technical solutions that are available in the market.
Noise pollution from transportation and industry
We have 10 core emplyees who work primarily within these areas, in addition to focusing on the structural sound and vibrations from railways, trolleys, and subways. We have been involved in most of the large-scale projects that have begun in the last several years.
